Pregnancy number four is extra tough for Yasmine Vargas, wife of actor-politician Alfred Vargas.
Yasmine on Saturday, July 29, 2023, details the many challenges that she's facing on her 16th week as an expectant mom.

It's no secret that Yasmine has been dealing with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition characterized by severe and constant nausea and vomiting.
She has been afflicted with this condition since her first pregnancy.
However, Yasmine's delicate health state has been aggravated by Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which she first experienced during the time she was pregnant with their third child.
STRUGGLES AND JOYS
In her post on Instagram, Yasmine mentioned that she continues to experience "all-day sickness and nausea, but kaya ko na mag water."
She still hasn't gained weight and is in total bed rest as advised by her doctor.
Yasmine is also dealing with "constant heart palpitations," "indigestion," "stomach pain," and "anxiety."
But despite these setbacks, she also noted some significant wins from the past days.
She wrote, "Felt our baby’s kick for the first time last week on our wedding anniversary."
Her last ultrasound, carried out while she was in her 14th week, revealed that the baby inside her tummy exhibits activity and "is super kulit."
HANDS-ON PARTNER
Yasmine's fragile state is witnessed on a daily basis by Alfred, who is constantly by his wife's side.
Alfred said in a recent radio interview for DZRH, "Basically, buong araw buong gabi naka-bed rest lang siya. Lumalabas lang siya sa kuwarto pag kakain, tapos pahinga na ulit.
“There are days na uy! Parang okay, a! Yun pala, pagdating sa gabi, biglang aatekehin or ano."
"Alam mo yung paglilihi at saka ano yung hyperemesis, okay lang sa kanya, e. Yung pinaka nahirapan siya, yung generalized anxiety disorder.
"Yung bigla na lang siya magpa-panic attack. Tapos, bigla siyang may depression, biglang may ano. Yun bang ano... yung biglang nag-aalala.
"So, yun yung nagpapahirap sa lahat."
Alfred addressed Yasmine's anxieties and lauded his wife for her strength despite her difficulties.
"Ako bilang asawa, napansin ko talaga iba talaga yung pinagdadaanan ng mga babae," mused Alfred.
"Kapag nagbubuntis, tapos iluluwal pa nila yung anak nila sa mundo. Lalo akong bumibilib sa misis ko.
"Ang lakas ng mga babae, yung pinagdadaanan na ganito, nakakabilib."
