Cheska Garcia waxes poetic about her love for her children.
Posting on Instagram, the mother of three shared a poem she wrote titled, "For My Children."
The poem tells about the enduring love and dedication of a mother to her kids.
It also touches on the many hats a mother dons through the various life stages of her children.
The piece starts with the lines:
In the role of a mommy, I can do so much,
Even things I never thought I could, with a tender touch.
I'll find a way to provide for their every need,
Ensuring their happiness, as my love takes the lead.
These touching words make up the fifth stanza.
There's no limit to the love I hold,
For my children, my heart will always unfold.
In their lives, I'll play an irreplaceable role,
A mommy's love, an unbreakable soul.
Cheska is married to former PBA player, Doug Kramer.
Their marriage is blessed with three kids: Clair Kendra, Scarlett Louvelle, and Gavin Phoenix.

EXPRESSING THOUGHTS THROUGH PROSE
Cheska has been turning to poetry to express her feelings as of late.
In July, Cheska posted a lengthy but sweet poem to greet Doug on his birthday.
She paid tribute to her husband, writing, "Oh, the little things you do each day / They melt my heart in every way."
Cheska also put beautifully into words Doug's simple yet touching habit of preparing her vitamins and water "where my eyes can see / A gentle reminder just for me."
Cheska likewise marked the first day of August by sharing a poem she did thanking the Lord for guiding her in her 43 years of existence.
Part of the poem reads, "I prayed relentlessly, yearning for that special embrace /
And when the answer came, my heart danced with grace."
Cheska and Doug are hands-on parents, and both strongly encourage their kids to read.
Cheska herself loves to read and has made it a point to surround their home with books, always within reach for her kids to access.
“In Pasig, there’s a big scholastic warehouse. Every so often, the children go there and fill up a box with as many books as they want for PHP700. They try to outdo each other in filling up the box," Cheska, who released a children's book in 2016, told Boy Abunda in an article published six years ago for The Philippine Star.
