Talking to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on March 12, 2024, the Kapuso actress elaborates on how she teaches her kids Zia (8) and Sixto (4) about the benefits of healthy living early on.

"So, once in a while, may cheat day naman yung mga bata kasi pag wala, kawawa naman.

"Kumbaga, lahat naman pupuwede, huwag lang sosobra."

The reason for doing this, Marian explains, "Kasi mas maganda siguro na open communication ka sa mga anak mo.

"Para just in case na mayroong mga situation na hindi nila alam how to handle, hindi dahil sa ikaw ang gagawa ng remedyo, kundi tutulungan mo sila to solve that problem."

Does she also instill a sense of competitiveness in the two children?

She humorously mentioned, laughing, "Parang hindi ko na kailangang gawin iyon [teach her kids how to be competitive].
