Yasmien Kurdi has boldly bared her baby bump for the camera, a challenge she was both hesitant and excited to do for the first time.
The Kapuso actress and husband Rey Soldevilla are expecting their second child.
In a series of social media posts on April 3, 2024, Yasmien shares a glimpse of her sophisticated maternity shoot, captioning it with humor and honesty.
She playfully writes, "Embracing my sexy pregnant body charot! [emojis] Embracing womanhood [emoji]."

YASMIEN ON BARING TUMMY
Without a doubt, Yasmien aces the shoot, but the 35-year-old celebrity mom admits to being on edge throughout the process.
She says, published as is: "Nakakatense pala mag #MaternityShoot [emoji].
"Ang weird kasi ng feeling na pinapakita yung tummy sa photoshoot (ewan ko ba kung ako lang ba itong na tense or kayo din? [emoji] or ang conservative ko lang talaga [laughing with tears emoji])."
Yasmien shares her reluctance with Nice Print Photography's lady boss Charisse Tinio, who approached her and suggested a maternity shoot.
However, reflecting on her first pregnancy with Ayesha Zara where she didn't have a maternity shoot, she decided to seize the opportunity this time around.
"Hesitant ako noong una kasi kinakabahan ako… pero kasi naisip ko na with #AyeshaZara wala akong #MaternityShoot [emoji]
"Minsan lang naman tayo mabuntis [laughing with tongue out emoji] so para may memories naman ng pregnancy na nakapag photoshoot [holding laughter emoji]"

TEAM EFFORT
In the end, Yasmien feels grateful, "Maraming salamat sa Nice Print Team sa mahabang pasensya… naiilang talaga ako na ipakita tummy ko… ang weird ng feeling!"
Yasmien gives her husband, Rey, and her team, including Chabbs, Nelly, and Gabby, a shout-out.
"Nakakailang kasi di ganun ka ganda bilog ng tummy ko … di katulad ng nakikita ko sa ibang mommies na nagbubuntis, para bang photogenic ang mga tummy nila," she remarks.
"Sakin may lumabas na abs… na sana lumabas din ang mga to kapag di nako buntis haha! [laughing with tears emoji]... nagulat ako sa outcome ng photos [emoji].
"Thanks for the memories."
Then she asks her followers, "Who among you has experienced this?!"
