Athlete Ali Khatibi and his non-showbiz girlfriend, Dona Balmadrid, have announced the arrival of their newborn, a baby boy named Axel Joshua.
Dona joyfully shared the news on her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 24, 2024.
The announcement came with a heartfelt photo of Dona smiling with her son Axel sleeping peacefully on her arm.
The photo featured a cute sticker that read, "Mama’s boy."
Dona also tagged an Instagram page specially dedicated to their son.
On Tuesday night, June 25, 2024, Dona posted more adorable pictures of her son on Instagram, tagging both Ali's account and her son's Instagram page.
In March, rumors about Dona's pregnancy circulated online, but the couple chose to stay private about it.
Ali also has a daughter named Amarah with his former wife, actress Cristine Reyes. The couple welcomed Amarah in 2015.
In February 2024, Cristine confirmed that their marriage had been annulled for over a year.
She and Ali parted ways in 2019. But despite their separation, they maintain a good co-parenting relationship, and are often seen together at their daughter’s school events.
