In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), she says she has no regrets that she pursued having a family rather than a showbiz career.
"This is what I really wanna do. I wanna have a family with the two kids.
"I wanna be a soccer mom. And I'm actually a soccer mom.
"My kids got into soccer last year. Magwa-one year na. And I'm actually at every single tournament, every Saturday or Sunday, every weekend.
"So I'm a newbie soccer mom. I'm there. I have no makeup on with a hat, with a fan, with an umbrella.
"I'm their number one cheerleader."
She even tried to play the game when she attended the recent Azkals Celebrity Cup at BGC, Taguig City
"I was there, yeah. I had no knowledge of soccer. Kasi ako yung tagi-cheer ng anak ko.
"But I was there. I played. Nagpapasok ako last two minutes. Para hindi ako mapagod."
Aside from watching her kids play soccer, Say also enjoys sending them to school and preparing their baon.
"Ako yung naghahatid sa school, ako yung nagsusundo. Wala kaming driver.
"Gustung-gusto ko talaga siya. Mas gusto ka ako naghahatid sa practice. Nandun ako nagbabantay. Cheerleader mom talaga.
"I make their baon everyday. Like a bento box.
"Parang ganyan, meron ditong mga fruits, tapos meron ditong chocolates, meron ditong rice.
"Sobrang effort ko!"
Prioritizing her children is a no-brainer decision for Say, who used to do acting gigs.
"You get to see them grow up. You get to see their first step.
"You get to be there if they cry. If they get a little heartache from school.
"I haven't seen my son's first goal in a tournament. But I've seen lots of goals during practice. So I'm waiting for the first goal."

SAY ALONZO ON HER FLEXIBLE WORK
She explains that her work as an events host and content creator allows her to manage her time without missing out on her kids' activities.
"I love it. I love being a mom.
"Sobrang thank you that social media is good. Because kahit nag-stop ako mag-taping, I still have income from social media and also hosting events.
"Because that's really my first love. I mean, acting is okay.
But it's really not me.
"It's really, you know, talking and hosting is my thing. So I get to do that."
PEP interviewed Say on October 11, 2024, at the opening of atelier Debbie Co's second prêt-à-porter pop-up at Greenbelt 5 in Makati City.
"So ngayon yung asawa ko na yung nagsusundo sa school at maghahatid kasi nandito ko.
"So yung job ko now, being in social media and event hosting, nagagawa ko yung nandun ako for them and then napu-fulfill ko rin yung sarili ko.
"Kasi, parang hindi naman pwede na puro kids lang. You need to, love yourself first so you can give that love to your family."
SAY ALONZO FASHION STYLE
For the occasion, she is dressed in Debbie Co's signature two-piece ensemble, a tube top and a long pencil skirt designed with intricate florals.
"This is actually the first time that she has dressed me. I love everything that's in Debbie Co's shop. It's actually super girly, super posh, super glam.
"Actually, I can wear anything that she has right now," Say exclaims.

Describing how it complements her personal style, she adds, "I'm always girly and stylish, I think.
"I'm super lucky that kahit na hindi ako active sa showbiz, I still do events, I still host events, I attend events.
"Tapos I do social media, so videos and photos, so I still get to dress up."
