Good job, Baby Mochi!
At just one year and five months old, Thia Marceline Luna Sotto—fondly nicknamed "Mochi"—has officially begun her academic journey.
The youngest daughter of showbiz couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna has taken her first steps into pre-toddler school, marking a significant milestone for the growing Sotto family.
On Monday, June 30, 2025, Pauleen, 36, shared heartwarming snapshots of her baby girl's first day in school.
In one photo, Mochi stands alongside other toddlers against a classroom wall, calmly sucking on a pacifier.
Another captured her quietly engrossed in a Filipino-labeled coloring book—an early peek into the start of her language and literacy development.
Pauleen didn’t reveal the name of the school, but many believed it may be the Alabang preschool where her older sister Tali, now six, also began her early education.
The institution accepts toddlers as young as 14 months old.

Welcoming baby Mochi into the world
The Luna-Sotto family first introduced Baby Mochi to the public on January 25, 2024, two days after Pauleen gave birth.
In the caption, she shared that Thia Marceline weighed 8.2 pounds at birth and had already stolen hearts with her chubby cheeks and calm expressions.
One particularly touching photo showed a grinning Ate Tali Sotto gently poking her baby sister's cheek.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities, friends, and fans, as the Sotto family welcomed its newest member.

FIRST LETTER TO MOCHI
Hours before giving birth, Pauleen was all set to meet her second baby with a sweet note on social media (published as is): "to my mochi girl, mommy cannot wait to hug and kiss you tomorrow!
"You are yet another answered prayer in our lives! I'm so excited to make memories with you and your ate and dad. I love you!"
This letter was written along with messages for Tali, thanking her for six beautiful years that taught Pauleen all about what it means to be a mom, and for Vic, expressing her appreciation for his endless love and support.
