PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Niña announced her pregnancy on June 30 this year.
She relayed the good news subtly after the oath-taking ceremony for her second term as the mayor of Bayambang, Pangasinan.
Her photo shared on social media showed Niña wearing an all-white ensemble with a visible baby bump.
Niña's pregnancy came nearly two years after suffering a miscarriage, an incident she revealed in November 2023.
"I am still grieving and now even more so since there is NO ANSWER why my healthy baby’s heartbeat stopped. Don’t fool yourselves when you see me smile or be 'okay'. There is no 'being okay' when you lose your child," Niña wrote on Instagram.
She named her unborn daughter Marian Hannah Claire.
Niña added: "I always ask God WHY He had to grant me this child and take her away too, what’s the point?
"And there was no answer and there is no answer.
"My heart is so broken that there is no one I get my strength from but GOD.
"I miss my daughter so much, I am grateful to have been with her even in such a short time.
"The love I have for my daughter surpasses all time and space."
