Alex Gonzaga took to social media to share her thoughts and feelings about being a new mom—something many parents can surely relate to.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, September 5, 2026, Alex wrote, "I am so happy to be a mommy kahit walang ganda at ligo."
Alex recently gave birth to a baby boy.
The good news was confirmed by Alex’s mother, Pinty Gonzaga, in a text message sent to PEP Troika columnist Gorgy Rula.

Aside from debunking the rumor that Alex gave birth to twins, she refrained from sharing additional details, including the baby's date of birth.

"Now there are three of us, with our very own little baby boy," Alex captioned her post.
Alex's showbiz friends and colleagues, including Mariel Padilla, Carla Abellana, Chynna Ortaleza, Jolina Magdangal, Megan Young, and Iya Villania, left congratulatory greetings to Alex and Mikee, who had waited five years for their baby.

It was no secret that Alex and Mikee had gone through three miscarriages during their nearly six-year marriage.
In a social media post on May 21, 2026, Alex announced that she was pregnant again.
"We want to thank everyone who prayed with us, hoped with us, and supported us through this journey to becoming parents," wrote Alex.
"By God’s grace, our prayers have been answered, and we are finally going to be mommy and daddy."
The actress-vlogger asked her fans to continue praying for her and her baby’s safety throughout the pregnancy.
"The Lord Jesus truly answers prayers," a grateful Alex said.
