Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid is embracing a new role in his life: that of a proud uncle.
On October 1, 2026, Ruru took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos showing him carrying and spending time with his newborn nephew, Atlas, the first child of his younger sister Rere Madrid and basketball star Kai Sotto.

Some of the photos also featured Ruru's long-time girlfriend, Bianca Umali, who was seen carrying baby Atlas as the couple enjoyed quality time with the family's newest member.


The actor could not contain his excitement as he proudly announced the happy news in the caption of his post.
Ruru wrote: "TITO RURU NA AKO! [emoji]"
Ruru also took the opportunity to congratulate the new parents and express how proud he is of his sister.
"Congratulations, Bunso at Bayaw, sa isang napakagandang biyayang ipinagkaloob sa inyo. [emoji]
"Re @reremadrid, sobrang proud ako sa'yo. Mommy ka na! [emoji] Alam kong hindi naging madali ang lahat, pero look at you now. You did it, Bunso. [emoji]"
He also left a heartfelt message for Kai, acknowledging the sacrifices the basketball player has made for his growing family.
"Bayaw @kzsotto, alam ko rin na hindi madali para sa'yo na mapalayo kay Baby, pero ginagawa mo ito para sa kanila. Saludo ako sa 'yo, Bayaw. [emoji]"
Toward the end of his post, Ruru expressed his love and support for Baby Atlas, assuring him that he and girlfriend Bianca Umali will always be there for him.
