Content creator Bea Borres opened up about her co-parenting set-up with ex-boyfriend Meray Yamada.

She happily described him as a good provider for their daughter, Hopea.

PEP.ph caught up with Bea at The New Nocturnals Halloween Party of Raymond Gutierrez, held on October 29, 2026, at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City.

Bea said she appreciates that Meray has continued to support their daughter financially and fulfill his responsibilities as a father since their split.

They’ve also continued making videos together, especially now that their content is bringing in significantly more revenue.

Bea recently made headlines after telling Benedict Cua on his YouTube series Potluck Saturdays that she had continued collaborating with Meray despite her initial reservations.

In the episode “Turning Clout Into Motivation,” released in late September 2026, Bea said she planned to keep working with Meray until she could afford to buy a particular asset. She kept the details of the planned purchase private.

When asked by PEP about the asset she was referring to at the time, Bea said her priorities have since shifted after becoming a mother.

"Ang goal ko that time is, hindi ko rin alam, itaas yung monetization ko."

She added that ambition has always motivated her.

"Ano lang, talagang goal-centered lang talaga ako. Talagang I want more, more, more, more in everything."

But now that she is a mother, "I just wanna do everything for my daughter, for our daughter."

What Bea confirmed was that she and Meray are still in touch as they focus on raising their daughter together.

"Oo, meron, meron. I mean, we're working, we're being our best selves for Hopea."

In the same episode, Bea opened up about the highs and lows of her relationship with Meray.

She recalled going through most of her pregnancy with little support from him.

Things have since improved, she said, and she appreciates the effort Meray now makes to be present in their daughter’s life and provide for her.

Bea clarified that they remain separated, even as they continue making videos together and have grown more comfortable as co-parents.

She said she still has a soft spot for Meray because he is Hopea’s father. Her focus now is on raising their daughter together and giving her the best possible future.

Meray Yamada's financial support for Hope

Asked to describe Meray as a father and provider, Bea replied: "Provider. Yung sustento niya, ano talaga, I gotta give him that.

"So I get to enjoy my money because he really provides for everything."

According to Bea, the current support arrangement was initiated by Meray's side.

"Sila yung nag-offer. Yeah. Malaki ha. Puwede bang sabihin?

"Well, I mean, for ten months, nagbibigay five digits a month."

She added, "Is it big?:

Bea added, "And more pa. Pang-therapy ko. Okay na yun. Okay na yun."
