LJ Reyes can't believe her five-year-old Aki is growing up so fast, but she is certain he will never outgrow "mommy's love."

A week after Mother's Day, single mom LJ Reyes is still musing about the wonders of motherhood.

On her Instagram account, she posted a photo of her son with Paulo Avelino, Aki, and wrote, "I heard motherhood is never easy. And man do I agree!!! But is it rewarding? Definitely YES!!!!"

Turning six years old later this year, LJ can't help but feel a bit sentimental.

"I used to hold you with one arm and do other chores with the other.

"But now, both my arms seem short to wrap around you! Oh and tangled too!!!

"Before it was just bath, nursing, sleeping... Now it's bath, eating, schooling, soccer, your endless questions, and more questions and another set of questions.. And so so much more!!!"

With all the inevitable changes happening between her and Aki, one thing will remain constant.

"But I think there is one thing that you can never ever outgrow from... Mommy's LOVE!!!"
