Zion Gutierrez, at present, is into music.
At her pictorial for Nido 3+ #CheckTheLabel campaign, his mom Sarah Lahbati told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview, “Surprisingly at his age parang I’m still in awe whenever I see him, you know, memorize a song within just a quick amount of time.
“He’s only three, and it’s kind of amazing.”
Add to this, the toddler has been learning how to play the guitar and piano.
On Instagram, Sarah posted a picture of her playing an organ with Zion.
“That piano was mine when I was, I think I had that when I was six or seven in Geneva, Switzerland.
“My mom kept it, brought it here, and, until now, it’s working very well.
“I forgot how to play the piano so I kind of guide him lang a little with the lessons he’s learning at school.”
Zion also has a drum set.
But Sarah said he can’t play a song yet because “he’s just experimenting.”
One thing she’s very proud about: He can sing.
The young mom beamed, “When he sings, may tono siya, it’s not like yung just singing whatever.
“He’s such a quick learner so parang now pa lang, I see that he’s so interested in music and singing and instruments, so I’m supporting him.”
Zion, according to Sarah, also likes “whatever is on TV or whatever movie he watches.”
The ASAP mainstay resumed, “He’s into dinosaurs, cars, trucks, planets, and so many things.”
BONDING TIME. The family's idea of fun is B-E-A-C-H or swimming.
During the pictorial, she just arrived from her Cebu getaway.
"We love the beach. Richard and I scuba dive, we just got back today, and Zion’s just sleeping in the car ‘cause he got tired from the trip.
“We love going to the beach."
Can Zion already swim?
“Not in deep pools, just yung kiddie pools pa rin, siyempre.
“It’s Richard and Zion’s favorite bonding activity.”
