Rufa Mae Quinto expressed her gratitude to Mariel Rodriguez for providing Baby Alexandria her initial supply of breast milk.
The sexy comedienne gave birth to Baby Alexandria last Friday night, February 17.
On Instagram, Rufa Mae wrote, “Thanks @marieltpadilla for giving and sharing @alexandriamagallanes your milk kagabi, naka-survive baby ko hanggang kanina, sakto lumabas ang milk ko, di na magugutom anak ko.”
The Kapuso actress also thanked Mariel’s husband, Robin Padilla, for making a short video about breastfeeding mommies donating their milk to those who need it most.
Robin’s caption for his video partly read: “Nanganak si Rufa Mae, wala pang breast milk.
“Saklolo si Mariel. Nagpadala ng gatas at nursing system kaya't busog na nakatulog si Alexandria.”
Robin’s video also showed how his wife Mariel got help from a friend when the It's Showtime host couldn’t produce enough breast milk after giving birth last November.
The action star recalled, “Kulang sa breast milk. Saklolo si Camille Villar.
“Nagpadala ng pangmalakasan na pump. Tagumpay ang supply.”
At the end of the video, Robin called the three breastfeeding mommies “tunay na magkakaibigan” and “breast friends.”
The three ladies became friends when they co-hosted Willie Revillame's defunct show on TV5, the WilTime Bigtime.
FEELING BETTER. Meanwhile, Rufa Mae happily announced that she started producing breast milk.
