Queenie Padilla's recent photo on Instagram proudly showed her baby bump.
Taken inside Bahrain National Museum, the eldest daughter of Robin Padilla and ex-wife Liezl Sicangco was accompanied by her Pakistani husband, Usama Mir.
Queenie is now five months pregnant.
She previously tried her hand at showbiz, but left the industry to fully embrace the Muslim religion in 2012.
Coincidentally, Queenie’s younger sister, Kylie, is also pregnant with fiancé Aljur Abrenica’s baby.
In an interview with Kylie during her launch as the endorser of Watsons, she happily revealed, "Four days lang yung difference namin so siguro, sabay kami manganganak."
Last March, Queenie arrived in the country and had a reunion with her family.
She also introduced her husband to dad Robin and the rest of her folks.
It was the first time that Queenie’s husband met his wife’s family since they got married in 2012.
In a recent Facebook live, she mentioned that she hopes to make her baby a Da’i in the future.
“That’s what I’m praying for and hoping for.
“Some people say when you’re pregnant, you kind of imitate what your mother was doing during her pregnancy so I really want my child to be a Da’i.”
According to Wikipedia, a Da’i refers to a "missionary" or a person who engages in Dawah, the act of inviting people to Islam.
