With her daughter Lucia turning two in a few months, ABS-CBN host Bianca Gonzalez has become more effusive about her feeling as a mom than on the day her baby was born.
"More rewarding, more fulfilling!" she described.
Bianca elaborated, "Now that my baby is a toddler na, parang napapa-feel niya na na love ka niya 'cause she can kiss you na, she can embrace you na."
A toddler reaching the age of discovery can be exhausting for any parent, and Bianca is not exempt.
The Kapamilya talent admitted, "I'm so tired! Lagi ko siyang hinahabol! Ibang iba yung hirap ng [pag-aalaga sa] babing-baby."
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Bianca in an exclusive interview during the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 at Samsung Infinity Hub in Bonifacio Global City last Thursday, April 27.
Bianca shared that at this stage in their child's development, she and her husband JC Intal are more careful around her.
She explained, "You have to be conscious of the things... like nasa age na siya na kung ano yung nakikita niya, ginagawa niya so para na siyang sponge.
"Of course, me and my husband, we have to be careful sa nakikita niyang ginagawa naming actions.
"Kasi sometimes nagugulat kami na she saw it two days ago, today she's doing it.
"So yun yung isang challenge na parang nag-i-start na mag-form yung ugali niya so we have to be mindful."
She added, "We don't know how to raise a child, first time namin so every day is a challenge talaga... pero masarap."
EVERY DAY, A SURPRISE. The rewarding part also, according to Bianca, is learning new things about her daughter every day.
"My daughter, ano siya... like kanina we went to a play class, hindi siya nakaupo dun sa bilog [with the other kids].
"Parang she just wanted to do her own little thing.
"Ayun, little things you learn every day na different people will move to the beat of their own drum.
"So far, yung anak ko parang ganun na nga siya e.
"Chill lang siya at saka parang wala siyang care kung lahat ng ibang bata nandun.
"If she wants to get the ball or go somewhere else, dun siya."

She added with pride, "Fearlessness, she teaches me every day.
"Kasi sometimes, nagugulat ako na hindi siya natatakot to biglang jump or do things.
"Na parang, 'Oo nga,' it's a good reminder also, sometimes."
DADDY'S GIRL. Bianca's Instagram account is filled with photos of her husband and their daughter's bonding moments.
She acknowledged Baby Lucia is a certified Daddy's Girl, "Super daddy's girl talaga! As in iba yung joy talaga sa mata niya when she's with her dad."
And between Bianca and JC as parents, the Kapamilya talent volunteered she is "the strict one, super!"
"Like yung time ng pagligo, pagkain, I'm very very strict na hindi ko inakalang ganun ako at all.
"Yung husband ko is talagang the joy, all the play time, the happiness, lahat kanya.
"Sa akin, wala, super strict, para akong pulis!"
All that kapulisan, however, only makes her bonding moments with Lucia even sweeter.
"I'm very proud na iba din yung bond namin. Like during times naman na she's crying or she wants to be comforted or antok na siya, sa akin siya pumupunta.
"And I still breastfeed e, so siguro there's a bond with that also," Bianca beamed.
Like most parents, Bianca relishes having quality time with her family.
"The more I get older, and my husband and my baby gets older," she mused, "parang may occasions talaga...
"Now parang as long as you have quality time at home or kakain lang sa labas, parang happy ka na sa ganun e.
"It doesn't have to be grand, you don't have to keep giving gifts, parang basta you have quality time together, okay na yun."
The Kapamilya host will also celebrate her second Mother's Day on Sunday, May 14, any big plans?
"We'll see, if my husband doesn't have work, siguro we'll just eat out or go out of town ganun. But if he has work, we'll be at home lang, happy na."
SHOWBIZ, NOT. Will Bianca allow her daughter to join showbiz?
"It's selfish of me to say hopefully not, pero hopefully not talaga," Bianca said.
"We'll see, I don't know if she'll be interested in it. Me, technically, I joined showbiz when I was in college na."
Bianca said she and her husband prefer that their daughter will finish her studies first before anything else.
The Pinoy Big Brother host told PEP, "One thing's for sure, pareho kami ng husband ko, we make sure...we want her to focus on school talaga, e.
"So if she wants to work sa side ng school, whatever kind of work it is, like kung gusto niya mag-business, gusto niya mag-whatever while studying basta important, she finishes school.
"Sana showbiz hindi. I don't know...It's selfish for me to say kasi ako pinayagan ng parents ko, but we'll see.
"Wala pa ako dun, nasa toddler stage pa rin ako, e."
