Camille Prats has played a lot of mommy roles for TV, but nothing beats playing the part to her 9-year-old son Nathan Linsangan.
The Kapuso actress recently welcomed a new milestone with her son after being tapped as the latest endorser of RiteMed for Kids.
A press conference for their endorsement deal was held last Friday, May 19, in Quezon City.
One of the main reasons moms get praning at times is their family's health.
Camille expressed her gratitude since the endorsement deal came at the best time for her and her family, and stressed the importance of their health.
The 31-year-old TV host/actress recounted one of her latest praning moment with Nathan, while she was still in the first trimester of her second pregnancy.
She recalled, "Yung pinaka-recent niya, kasi nitong summer nauso yung hand-foot-and-mouth disease. So nakuha niya yun and at that time, I was already pregnant, nasa first trimester."
Camille admitted that she got stressed out since she couldn't personally take care of her son.
The former child star explained, "So sobrang nag-worry lang ako kasi hindi talaga siya sakitin and then when he got that, siyempre nag-fever tapos hindi ako makalapit. Kasi nga, hindi ako pwedeng magkasakit, hindi ako pwedeng mahawa.
"And for me, yun yung sobrang na-stress ako kasi I had to sleep in a separate room 'tapos sinisilip ko lang siya. 'Tapos at that time, sobrang hindi siya makatulog kasi sobrang kati, nangangati yung kamay at paa niya."
Good thing her husband VJ Yambao and her parents were there to take care of Nathan.
Camille told the press, "Buti na lang siyempre, we had help in the house, my husband, my parents. Sila yung sobrang nag-a-attend lang sa kanya.
"'Tapos ako hanggang silip lang talaga kasi we didn't wanna risk it at that time."
Meanwhile, Nathan has also expressed how much he's thankful to have a father like VJ.
He said, "Cool, 'cause he gets to play with me every time he doesn't have work."
Members of the press also inquired if Camille and their family have decided to change Nathan's surname to Yambao from Linsangan. The Kapuso actress, however, said they are keeping Nathan's surname in honor of his late father, Anthony Linsangan.
Camille explained, "We're keeping it, kasi he's the only boy in the family at saka, parang ano niya na yan, e, legacy niya sa daddy niya. And also, siyempre from his family. So yes, he's keeping it [the surname]."
In September 2011, Anthony passed away due to nasopharyngeal cancer at the age of 31.
