Now that her son Aki has turned seven, LJ Reyes marvels at how time flies, "Grabe, ganun-ganun lang pala yun."
During the birthday party of Aki, her son with ex-boyfriend Paulo Avelino, LJ told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Alam mo yun, yung pitong taon, ganun lang pala siya kadali."
With wonderment, she described her alone journey with her son, "Ramdam ko kung gaano kamalaman ang mga taon namin ni Aki.
"Pero siguro sa mga pinagdaanan namin ni Aki, I feel like you and me together.
At seven, according to child-development books, kids enjoy having and making friends, and take pleasure in imitating the actions of their peers at school.
Will she make adjustments in her parenting style now that Aki is older?
For now, she remains the most special person to her son.
LJ intoned, “Si Aki, sobrang clingy niya talaga. 'Tapos lately nga, malambing.
“Nagpapa-baby lagi. So parang natutuwa rin ako kahit paano, siyempre, i-e-expect mo kapag ganyang age, medyo ayaw na."
In an Instagram post, LJ said that Aki agreed to be her "little big baby boy."
And even if her journey has not exactly been smooth all throughout, LJ said she felt blessed for having "the jolliest, the craziest, the most-energetic, and pinakasweet at pinakamalambing na little boy."
The actress added, "Thanks for spoiling mommy this way!"
