Once babies get to be toddlers, their parents are faced with the next set of challenges such as potty training and showing them the rudiments of sanitary habits such as washing their hands and brushing their teeth.
Celebrity mom Marian Rivera is undaunted and up to the task.
In fact, at three months shy from turning two, her daughter Zia already knows how to properly clean after herself.
The 33-year-old mom shares her trick: Train your baby as early as you can.
At the recently-held Hana Soft & Smooth event in Makati City, Marian told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Tinitrain ko talaga!
“Pagka tutulog siya, pagka gigising siya, pagka kakain siya, hindi puwedeng hindi siya magto-toothbrush.
“Hindi puwedeng hindi siya mag-wash ng 'peng-peng' niya.
“Kahit anong mangyari, kahit naantok ka, natutulog ka, gigisingin kita, huhugasan kita.”
And throughout her training, Zia never threw tantrums, “Ay wala, kasi nasanay siya, e," the proud mom said.
“Mas maganda siguro, bata pa lang sinasanay mo na.”
