The more, the merrier, and Ina Raymundo, a mother of five kids, can attest to that.
She has four girls: Erika, 15, Miki, 9, Anika, 7, and Minka, 4.
Jacob, 13, is her only boy.
Her Instagram feed is mostly about her three little girls Miki, Anika, and Minka.
Meanwhile, Erika and Jacob prefer to shy away from social media.
Has motherhood gotten easier now that her youngest child is past the toddler stage?
The La Luna Sangre actress told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during a recent phone interview with this writer, “Oh yeah, kasi alam mo yung gagawin mo. Hindi ka na tense, hindi ka parang clueless."
When Ina had her second child, Jacob, she admitted that the “transttion from one child sa dalawa” was tricky.
“Parang mas na-realize mo mahirap pala yung, ‘yon nga, from isang anak naging dalawa.
“Mas mapi-feel mo yung hirap.”
Good thing she's always been a hands-on mom.
“Halimbawa, kapag pang-apat o pang-lima, relaxed ka na. Hindi ka na nagagalit kaagad.
“Parang sanay ka na. Alam mo na yung routine.”
INA ON FAVORITISM
Has favoritism been an issue in the family?
“You try not to think about it.
“Kahit sinong parents ang makausap mo, kapag ang anak mo sobrang mabait, masunurin, alam mo 'yan?
"Parang yung puso, naa-appreciate mo kapag may anak ka na ganyan, di ba?”
But she tries to see the good in each one of them; she focuses on their individual strengths.
Lastly, Ina makes sure, “you try to spend one-on-one with your kids para maiwasan yung gano’n.
"Para lahat sila, alam nila, special sila.”
