On September 30, Kapamilya star Toni Gonzaga and husband Paul Soriano will be celebrating the first birthday of their unico hijo, Severiano Elliott.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Toni at Rustan's 65th anniversary kick-off party in Makati City last night, September 15.
Toni began, "He's actually turning one at the end of the month, so I'm really looking forward in celebrating his first year in the world."
Is there going to be a party?
She continued, "I'm just really planning to celebrate it with family and friends who are able to witness our struggles, in the beginning, when we had Seve [baby's nickname].
"It's just something that we want to celebrate as a family, and look back on the year that was and how he's grown.
"We just wanna make him feel how he's so loved by everybody."

BABY SEVE'S MILESTONES. When asked to sum up her journey as a mom, Toni remarked, "It's life-changing. It's overwhelming. It's the most rewarding feeling in the world for me."
She also considered it her biggest accomplishment.
"I guess, being a mother makes you appreciate yourself more.
"Parang I've learned to embrace my womanhood, parang ganun.
"I was finally able to grasp the essence of being a woman.
"Parang I feel like I've served my purpose.
"And I've learned to appreciate and love myself more because I know what I'm capable of giving and the strength I have in raising Seve and delivering him in this world."
Hearing Baby Seve say "mama" for the first time was like music to her ears.
It was his first word.
And as she talked about the milestones of her little one, the host's eyes lit up.
"He can pull himself up now, and he's starting to walk...
"And he already started saying 'Dada' and 'Mama' so ayun, exciting times ahead."
The actress felt like all her struggles as a new mom have been rewarded.
"Parang feeling ko, worth it na yung mga sleepless nights na nagbe-breastfeed kami, yung sobrang tiring na taking care of him, and it's just all worth it."
PAUL AS A DAD. Meanwhile, Toni was full of praise for Paul's dedication as a dad.
She said, "I have so much respect and love for him more now as a partner after he became a father.
"Kasi after witnessing how he loves and takes good care of Seve, parang mas dun ko na-appreciate si Paul as a partner."
The director didn't pull back the first time he changed the baby's dirty nappy.
"It was like a game for him in the beginning. He experienced na nung na-poopoo siya, and then Seve threw up on him.
"Na-experience niya lahat talaga."
