It's been a while since we last saw Pinoy Big Brother hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Mariel Rodriguez, and Toni Gonzaga together in one photo.
They were all single when they hosted the ABS-CBN reality series, and we were witness to the changes in their lives as we followed the goings-on inside the Bahay ni Kuya.
All three are now married and are first-time mothers.
Bianca captured how it is with them now.
Musing about their friendship in her Instagram post, she talked about the three of them making a date for the last-full showing of Toni’s latest film, Last Night.
Bianca wrote: “It felt exactly like ten years ago when we would go out all together, only this time, we've all grown up."
She called her post “Moms’ night out” in her #MommyDiaries on Instagram.
Bianca began, “’Really?? Lalabas kayo? As in may lakad kayo ng 10PM?’ said all our husbands when we made paalam.
“’Go! Sure! I am happy for you! This is great! You have a ‘social’ life!’ they also said, genuinely happy for us.”
She shared that it wasn’t such an odd hour for the three of them, “10PM every single night, if not at work, we are looking after our babies.
“That, or trying to rest or relax after a long day of taking care of our babies.”
For that reason, Bianca said her date with Mariel and Toni at 10 p.m. became extra special: “This night was different.
“The three of us were available and we wanted to watch Toni's latest film #LastNightMovie.
“Last full show was the best time for all of us because this time at night, when the whole house is beginning to sleep, that is when we have our 'me' time.”
With nostalgia, Bianca shared how their evening went: “We aren't talking about the latest shoes that we want to buy, we aren't talking about our feelings because a certain guy broke our heart.
“We're talking about our babies, how hard it is to be a mother, how sarap it is to be a mother, how we feel nagkukulang kami sa mga anak namin, sa mga asawa namin, our mistakes, our nababaliw moments especially during the first few months, and how time flies when they turn 1.
“We are friends and we share the same values, but despite that, we all have different styles in raising our kids and we make different choices for our babies.
“Sleeping with our babies or sleeping separately, how we get them to eat, how their day is scheduled, how we discipline them, all so different!
“’Iba iba talaga ang bawat baby, at iba iba talaga ang bawat mommy, to each her own,’ we all agreed.”
According to Bianca, the three of them talked endlessly about their lives until 2:30 a.m., “[We] only said goodbye to each other when we realized that we have to get up early again to start another whole day of taking care of our families.”
In the end, Bianca said, “It felt exactly like ten years ago, only this time, we live our lives not just for ourselves, but for our husbands and children.”
