Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto's baby girl has been kept off the public eye.
After being born via cesarean section before dawn on November 6, only family and close friends have seen what Poleng (Pauleen's nickname) and Bossing's (Vi'cs monicker) eldest looks like.
On Instagram, Poleng's mommy posted the infant's hand wrapped around a finger.
Meanwhile, the couple's Eat Bulaga! co-host Ruby Rodriguez posted a picture of the newborn, but with a sticker covering her face.
Earlier today, November 9, her photo was shown on Eat Bulaga!, and Pauleen debuted their first mother-and-daughter wefie on her Instagram account.
She also revealed her name: Talitha Maria.
In an earlier interview, Vic said their daughter's name will be taken from the Bible.
Talitha means "child" in Hebrew, while it means "little girl" in Aramaic.
In Mark 5:41 (New International Version), Jesus Christ uttered the phrase, "Thalita koum!" (which means "Little girl, I say to you, get up!") to rouse a girl believed to be dead by the people.
Talitha is also a name of two stars in the Ursa Major constellation, the Talitha Borealis and Talitha Australis.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Pauleen said that Vic suggested in jest that their daughter should be nicknamed Prima.
Why?
Pauleen said, "Premature."
Their healthy baby, weighing 6.9 pounds, was born three weeks before Pauleen's due date.
