Hubert Aguas, Isabel Granada's 14-year-old son with her ex-husband Jericho Aguas, on what he'll miss most about his mom: "I'll definitely miss yung pagyayakap namin, yung pagki-kiss niya, talagang yung mga pinaka-sweet na ginagawa naming dalawa."

Fourteen-year-old Hubert Aguas remembers how people used to mistake him for the younger brother of his late mom Isabel Granada.

Back in November 2016, in one of her Instagram posts, Isabel posted their photo and clarified that Hubert is her son.

She wrote, “Meet my son #Hubert...coz a lot of people are asking if he is my Brother po... I wish :) coz I am an Only child.”

Her son agreed.

In a short interview with (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during his mom’s wake yesterday, November 10, at the Santuario de San Jose, East Greenhills, San Juan, Hubert admitted, “Marami na rin pong nagsabi, parang yung relasyon po naming mag-ina, parang magkapatid lang po.”

The actress gave birth to her unico hijo with ex-husband Jericho Aguas when she was 26 years old.

Asked what he'll miss most about his mom, he said, “I'll definitely miss yung pagyayakap namin, yung pagki-kiss niya, talagang yung mga pinaka-sweet na ginagawa naming dalawa.”

LAST TIME TOGETHER. The young celebrity kid also recalled their last conversation two weeks before his mom fell into a coma.

He recounted, “Kami talagang dalawa ni Mama, we try our best talaga to see each other all the time.

“Luckily nga po, two weeks before the incident na nangyari, nagkita po kami, and then yun po yung our last moment.

“Dinrop niya po ako sa bahay ko kasi she was in Pampanga at that time, so ayun po.

“Nagyakap po kami, and we said our last goodbyes na.”

"And then malaman na two weeks later, wala na.

“Una kasi we really thought there was a chance, pero hangga’t sa dating namin sa Qatar, wala na, e.”

How is he coping with his mom's death?

“Talagang sometimes, hindi mo na maiiyak, talagang nasa loob lang talaga sumasakit.

“When I heard about the news, talagang I was, I super regretted all the times I haven’t been with her.

“Pero, I still remember naman all those good memories with her being a complete happy family.”

Now that his mom is gone, he promised, “Itatapos ko yung pag-aaral ko.

“Talagang even if I know she’s up there, she’s watching me, I’ll continue and do my best talaga to make her proud.”

Hubert’s last words for his late mom: “I love you po.”
