As far as Toni Gonzaga can remember, Mommy Pinty has always been the disciplinarian in their family.
But as lola to Toni's little Seve, Mommy Pinty reveals a surprising side of her.
“As a lola, so lenient, she’s so fun,” Toni told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and two other reporters at a recent play date event in Shangri-La at the Fort hotel in Taguig City.
“We never saw that kind of Mommy Pinty growing up... she’s just fun.
“Kasi when we were growing up, she was fun, but I think pang fifth characteristic niya ‘yon.
“Number one: strict, strict, strict, disciplinarian, and then fun.”
The celebrity host/actress was quick to add, however, that she and her younger sister Alex have always appreciated the way their mother brought them up.
Toni remarked, “I observed this while growing up, no matter what happens in her life, when she makes a decision, she makes sure that we are her top priority.
“Parang, she never decides for herself, and I feel that now.
“Every time I make an important decision, 'Will it benefit my child? Will it be good for my child?'
“If I could be half the mother she is to my kid, Seve would be so lucky.”
Toni is celebrating her second Mother’s Day this month.
