Dingdong Dantes is all set to make his directorial comeback via the Kapuso Saturday drama anthology, Tadhana, which will feature his wife, Marian Rivera.
He is also slated to produce more films for his indie film studio, AgostoDos Pictures.
The actor said, “Preparing for something, I’m in partnership with different producers also.”
But despite all these well-laid showbiz plans, Dingdong's main focus for this year will be his daughter Zia.
“Ang plano ko is sulitin ko ang pagiging two-year-old ng anak ko.
“Magiging three na siya ng November, so susulitin ko yun.
“Everything naman surrounds family, so kung ano man ang gawin ko, on the side yun, e.
“Para sa pagpapalakas pa ng aming pamilya lalo.
“Whatever it is, in entertainment scene or in my community work, saan man, priority talaga ang family.”
Dingdong also added that wife Marian Rivera is still on a roll with her teleserye projects.
“Of course, oo naman. Grateful kami tuwing may project para sa amin, lalo na siya.”
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had a chat with Dingdong during the press conference for his movie with Anne Curtis, Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story), produced by Viva Films.
SECOND CHILD? We asked about his and Marian's plan of giving Zia a baby brother or sister soon.
“Well, sana ibigay,” he said.
Zia, he continued, is ready to have siblings since she loves playing with other kids.
Despite this, he feels that there's really no pressure to rush baby number two for now.
He clarified, “Wala naman, enjoy-enjoy lang.”
As a daddy, how does Dingdong feel when people heap praises on Zia?
The young lady has been stealing the limelight lately because of her charm and spunk—traits that serve as her likely ticket to a showbiz career soon.
“Mag-aaral muna siya,” the proud dad reiterated.
“May oras din yun… siguro at a certain age.”
