Fast forward to today, June 13, the new mom took to Instagram to remember her daughter.

The musician-blogger began, “My body was once home to three heartbeats [heart emoji]

“I’ve been allowing myself to grieve Luna’s passing and to enjoy all my moments with Pancho.

“It’s been a roller coaster to say the last, but I am getting better.”

She then wrote a message for those who might be going through the same kind of pain as she is.

“In case you are going through something horrible as well, let me share something from my morning meditation (I use the app Calm): ‘If there’s sadness, let there be sadness.

“‘It’s when we make the sadness wrong—telling ourselves we shouldn’t be experiencing it—that our emotions intensify.

“‘When we stop resisting that which is, without adding any commentary or judgment, the sadness comes and the sadness goes.

“‘Why shouldn’t we be sad? Sometimes sadness happens.

“‘Allow things to be as they are in each moment.’

“Here, have a hug [hugging emoji]”

My body was once home to three heartbeats ???? I’ve been allowing myself to grieve Luna’s passing and to enjoy all my moments with Pancho. It’s been such a rollercoaster to say the least, but I am getting better. In case you are going through something horrible as well, let me share something from my morning meditation (I use the app Calm): “If there’s sadness, let there be sadness. It’s when we make the sadness wrong — telling ourselves we shouldn’t be experiencing it — that our emotions intensify. When we stop resisting that which is, without adding any commentary or judgment, the sadness comes and the sadness goes. Why shouldn’t we be sad? Sometimes sadness happens. Allow things to be as they are in each moment.” Here, have a hug ????

Last May, Saab, Jim, and their parents launched the Luna Isabel Magalona-Bacarro Memorial Fund in honor of their daughter.

Its first project was sponsoring the pediatric playroom of Quirino Memorial Medical Center to make sure that kid patients get ample play time.
