Shamcey Supsup admits she has not started preparing for the arrival of her baby boy in October.
The busy mom tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview during the Globe MyBusiness Star Bazaar event on August 17 that she will make time for it next month.
"So September, hopefully, I get to start with the preparation for the baby, like preparing the hospital bag, labhan yung mga damit, the clothes of the baby.
"Yung crib, di ko pa nalalabas ulit..."
Good thing she chose unisex colors for most of her firstborn Nyke's stuff.
Aside from having "less preparations," Shamcey continues, "...siguro kasi, this is the second baby, so reusing lang most of the things that our first baby is using.
"So the crib, strollers, even some of the clothes, medyo neutral naman so papagamit ko na...
"So lahat ng mga gamit, nilalabas ko na, hindi ko pa lang talaga siya na-arrange.
"So hopefully by September, I get the time to really like sit down and arrange every thing."
Now eight months pregnant, how's her pregnancy?
The Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up says, "'Pag mahaba-haba yung salita, parang pag nagdi-discuss, parang I am running out of breath.
"Pero okay naman, so far, sabi naman ng OB, no problems at all, every thing is normal so far, so just waiting for the day."
At the moment, Shamcey is still busy with her work, but she assures everyone that she'll slow down and take some time off soon.
"I'm thinking that by September, sabi ko talaga, kasi I’m still working and trying to make sure that when the baby arrives medyo nakaayos, maayos na yung set-up sa office.
"Siyempre, inaalala ko na marami akong work na kailangan din na i-let go, so kailangan merong gagawa..."
Shamcey and her husband Lloyd Lee own a chain of restaurants—Pedro 'N Coi and Tambayan ni Pedro—plus Scott Burger joint.
