Did Jewel Mische give birth?
Because looking at her post-baby bod, the new mom's tummy is back to being flat.
What did she do?
One of her Instagram posts revealed that working out during her pregnancy and being in a mommy mode have easily helped her lose the postpartum pooch.
Describing her fitness routine and diet, she wrote, "I worked out my entire pregnancy. I did about 200 variety of squats a day and I ate healthy (with a few treats in there.) (The last few weeks has been whatever food is available)."
Her weight has not gone down, she mentioned, "I currently weigh about the same as I did when I was pregnant!"
She also has more "curves, lumps and bumps."
But she doesn't look plump at all.
Here's a photo of her clad in a crop top two months after giving birth.
She thought twice before posting it because "it seems so shallow and empty compared to where my emotional state," nonetheless, it's a good body appreciation post given that she went through an "unmedicated delivery" and she is "still sore from natural birth."
The StarStruck alumna's full caption read: "I debated on posting this because it seems so shallow and empty compared to where my emotional state is right now, but... I am so glad I worked out my entire pregnancy! Tired mom plus not working out for 2 months plus not being able to prepare healthy meals, I feel fitter the day I was in labor and the week I just given birth!
"It’s just not obvious but (8 weeks pp) I have more 'curves, lumps and bumps'. My postpartum pooch lasted a couple days then my stomach was back to flat and I feel like it looked more “ripped” then than it does now (thanks to muscle memory?). Actually, I currently weigh about the same as I did when I was pregnant!! And if I’m honest, I’m not super pumped about it.
"One thing I didn’t really expect is this whole new appreciation for my body. My body feels destroyed and insanely purpose filled at the same time!! I’m in awe watching it change, progress and serve this little tiny human... I better be careful.. I can see how this process can get addicting for some women. 6 kids later, I want to like high five myself! Good job, way to go, you’re doing great!
"Was childbirth (and now postpartum) easy? Not at all!! I’m still healing from breast surgery due to mastitis. Unmedicated delivery seemed like a horrible decision a few times throughout labor and I’m still sore from natural birth. But pregnancy (and motherhood) is such a marvelous thing. It brings tears to my eyes processing all the things this body has been through. LOVING ON THIS SWEET VESSEL AND ADORING ITS CREATOR WITH ALL I AM RIGHT NOW. (Disclaimer: I worked out my entire pregnancy. I did about 200 variety of squats a day and I ate healthy (with a few treats in there.)) (The last few weeks has been whatever food is available)."
The former actress gave birth to a baby girl she named Aislah Rose on July 13 (Manila time).
