Nadine Samonte is pregnant!
Her husband Richard Chua broke the news to his Instagram followers yesterday, September 30, accompanied by photos of the actress' pregnancy test results.
He captioned, "Still in a state of shock.....totally unplanned but it's what I've been wanting, thank you so much Lord! Only you can deliver a miracle of this magnitude, I can never complain sa life na binigay mo sa 'kin. Thank you! thank you! thank you!
"and of course thank you mahal @nadinesamonte kaya pala ilang araw mo na ko sinusungitan #babynumber2 #herewego #youthebestmahal #anygenderwilldo #blessed #thankyouLORD"
The StarStruck alumnus initially wanted to hold the announcement.
In fact, she learned about her pregnancy three days ago, but did not tell Richard right away.
She wrote on her Instagram feed, "Hahahahaha just wanna share since my husband post it na sa social media hahaha sabi ko wag muna eh super excited niya kasi. So this is really unexpected but we are praying to have baby number 2 na but not really as in now na hehe.
"sobrang bait tlga ni Lord sa amin sobrang salamat po kasi sa case ko na hirap na hirap ako mabuntis, but now super biglaan.
"I knew it 3 days ago kaya lang ayoko pa muna sbhn kay hubby eh hindi nko mapakali hahaha kaya sinbi ko just tonight lang."
The good news she said was like their wedding anniversary gift. Richard and Nadine will be celebrating their fifth year as husband and wife on October 30.
The celebrity mom hopes that her pregnancy will be more bearable this time.
It can be recalled that during her first pregnancy, she had APAS—which stands for Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome.
According to thepoc.net, it's a condition where "a person’s antibodies are sort of on overdrive—they sometimes mistake their own body cells for foreign invaders, hence, attacking them. The antibodies attack all foreign bodies—which includes anything related to making a baby."
In her exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), she then revealed taking "53 tablets a day," 30 of which were for amino acids, and regularly injecting Heparin for to prevent blood clotting.
Nadine is hoping there won't be complications.
She continued, "Gusto ko na mag-gym and magpapayat getting ready for next year pero eto binigay ni Lord hehe super advance anniversary gift para sa amin.
"All we need now is your prayers na maging maayos ang journey ko ulit and maging healthy si Baby no complications. Lord kayo na po bahala sa aming pamilya.
"Heather you are going to be Ate soon.
"Salamat po, Lord. Salamat din sa lahat ng nagmamahal sa amin.
"And to my husband na lately pinag-iinitan ko at lagi ko sinusungitan hahahaha so alaaaaam m na kung bakit??? Hahahha love you @rboy_chua we will start this wonderful journey again together but with Heather na."
Heather is the couple's two-year-old daughter.
