Kristine Hermosa revealed that her eldest son and daughter, Kiel and Ondrea, might be joining showbiz in the future.
"Yung eldest ko, medyo may signs na gusto niya talaga, even my daughter. Siguro nakikita nila ang ginagawa namin, so naa-amaze sila kapag nakikita kami sa TV or may commercial sila, so natutuwa sila."
Will she and husband Oyo Sotto allow them?
"Of course, kung anong gusto ng anak namin, basta tapos sila mag-aral, yung foundation nila intact, we'll support them."
Kristine and Oyo have a straightforward rule when it comes to disciplining their four kids Kiel, Ondrea, Kaleb, and Vin.
"Kailangan in agreement kayo in disciplining your child. Hindi puwede na yung isa gusto mag-discipline, yung isa, 'Okay lang iyan,'" Kristine told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and a small group of press after her Kool Fever event last September 27 in Bonifacio Global City.
The two take turns playing "good cop-bad cop" when disciplining their kids.
"Kapag may signs na parang gusto nila they want it their way, kailangan mo nang i-discipline talaga. So they get the rod, pero saglit lang."
For the mom of four, discipling kids should start "as early as possible."
The actress remarked, "Kailangan talaga... especially nowadays na ang dami ding influences around na hindi mo na masabi.
"Talagang you have to really, foundation sa family and foundation kay God intact."
How about the use of gadgets at home?
"No gadgets talaga... We’re letting them naman watch once in a while, pero Netflix, and kami talaga pumipili what to watch.
"Hindi namin sila ina-allow na they can freely touch our phones or yung mga phones ng mga yayas."
