Marian Rivera admits to being more matakaw on her second pregnancy: "Kada visit ko sa O.B. ko, four pounds nang four pounds."

For most first-time moms, getting pregnant the second time seems less daunting.

After all, in more ways than one, they've already endured all the joys and pains they never imagined prior to childbirth.

Marian Rivera recently admitted how her second pregnancy is radically different compared to the time she was conceiving Zia.

For starters, her current appetite and cravings are a stark contrast to her first pregnancy.

She said, “Iba yung kay Zia, iba yung ngayon.

Dito, baligtad. Sobrang lakas kong kumain.”

Surprisingly, her penchant for sweets has now been overshadowed by her craving for tart or tangy flavors.

The Kapuso queen finds it funny how she started having craving for kamias.

She recalled, “Weird talaga!”

“Yung hilaw 'tapos sinasawsaw ko sa asin.

“Medyo yun ang hinahanap ko. Yun ang unang-una kong hinanap kay Dong.

“Gusto ko ng kamias,” natawang kuwento niya.

Does she fit the classic case of the preggy wife who sends her hubby out in the dead of night just to search for particular craving?

She said, “Hindi, mabait akong magbuntis, e.

She does not suffer from morning sickness spells too often, but she usually feels dizzy.

WEIGHT GAIN

The one thing that she can't help notice is her obvious weight gain.

BOY OR GIRL?

With much excitement, Marian said that they will be holding their gender reveal party this month.

It seems like the couple already has an idea about their baby's gender, but one more check-up should seal the deal.

Marian said, “Babalik pa ako sa O.B. ko ng November 20, so, sisiguraduhin ko muna kung yun na nga.”

Since they already have Zia, most of the couple's friends wish for them to have a baby boy this time.

However, despite all their friend's best intentions, Marian welcomes any gender for their baby number two.

She narrated, “Marami ang nanghuhula. May hulang babae raw.

“Pero ako naman, okay lang ako.

“Ke babae o ke lalaki, sabi ko nga, meron pa akong dalawang chance kasi, three to four ang gusto naming anak.

May pang-apat pa.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had the chance to catch up with Martin during her contract renewal with Nailandia Nail Salon and Body Spa.

This year marks Marian's fourth year with the company.

And being less visible on television did not stop various brands from getting her as their endorser.

She remarked, “Well, since day one naman ay transparent ako sa mga tao. Whether you like or not, heto ako.

“So, malinaw sa akin yun.

Does she feel more positive these days?

FIT TO WALK

Meanwhile, during Dingdong Dantes's recent presscon for his The Color Run Hero Tour, he thanked Marian for participating in the fun run.

His wife will still walk the "Happiest 5k on the Planet" at McKinley West, Taguig.

Marian, who was also present at the presscon, exclaimed, "Ano ba?! Tatakbo ako, 'no!" which Dingdong rebuffed, "Hindi, hindi ko siya papayagan."

The Kapuso Primetime King however explained that if she really wants to, Marian can still participate even if she just walks the whole stretch.

“Kasi kapag sinabi mong 5K, puwede namang lakarin,” he said.

“Of course, lalakarin namin yun tatlo. Ang 5k naman, puwede mong lakarin in less than an hour.”
