Kylie Padilla took to Instagram to write a moving piece how motherhood has changed her for the better.
In a lengthy free verse she composed, the 25-year-old mom expressed how her son Alas has renewed her zest for life and her sense of love.
It read: "I've never been quite sure of anything in my life,
"I've never really stayed in one place.
"And I've never really settled with anything,
"I've always desired and longed for a freedom.
"I've always looked out into the world,
"Thinking how amazing it must be to be out there,
"Than be where I am, and that always kept me running.
"And I've always watched other people's stories,
"Unravel before my eyes, with great appreciation.
"In absolute awe of the beauty in each and every detail,
"Wishing mine was just as beautiful.
"But the truth is, I never saw it that way.
"Not until this jewel, this miracle.
"Which has taught me too much,
"In so little time.
"Which has forced a great awakening,
"Deep within the flawed tragedy that was,
"my almost cold heart.
"Love, 'can't we give love one more chance,'
"Echoes into my ears and into my soul.
"That's what was given to me.
"The greatest gift that could ever have been
"given to anyone.
"Love, is what keeps saving me."
Kylie posted a candid photo of her and Alas along with her composition.
It was in early 2017 when news broke that Kylie was expecting a child with partner Aljur Abrenica.
On August 5, 2017, the GMA-7 actress gave birth to her son, Joaquin Alas.
She and partner Aljur Abrenica will tie the knot this November.
