In anticipation of the birth of their baby girl, LJ Reyes and Paolo Contis, along with her son, Ethan Akio, held a maternity shoot at The Forest Barn in Magallanes, Cavite.
The theme: Expectation vs. Reality.
The shoot was handled by Nice Print Photography
The photos uploaded on social media featured LJ's "masipag" props men—Paolo and AKi—behind her every stunning shot.
In another Instagram post, the Kapuso actress wrote, "I am grateful that a great team was behind this shoot!
"One of them literally was behind us as we took this photo! [face with tears of joy emoji]"
Hahaha"
Paolo, for his part, said, "Mahirap ang pagbubuntis.. madaming pagdadaanan!
"Suka, hilo, gutom, etc! Tapos manganganak pa! kaya dapat pag buntis, inaalagaan mabuti at laging pinaparamdam na maganda sila!
"Yan ang trabaho ko!
"Kaya kahit sa pictorial, todo support ako!
"Sabi nga nila ‘Behind a beautiful IG picture is a supportive jowa’"
Referring to Aki, the Kapuso comedian added, "buti na lang may masipag akong alalay!
"Ang mahal nga lang ng suhol..!!
"Tapos pag pagod na, mas [may] attitude pa sa buntis!"
LJ and Paolo have chosen the name Summer Ayanna for their daughter.
In an Instagram post last November 26, the soon-to-be mother of two explained, "Summer is a name I have been wanting to give my child ever since I dreamt of becoming a mother, and I appreciate Pao that he gave his approval and embraced it!
"Pao and I also decided that we want a second name that starts with the letter A because all our kids have the same.
"So I looked for a name that starts with A for girls and found this adorable name which is an African name that means 'beautiful flower.'
"How fitting!!! When I think of Summer, I think of warm hugs and a light that gives hope!
"A season in full bloom! And that is how our baby girl is to us."
