Marian Rivera is one of the most followed Kapuso actresses on Instagram with over six million followers.

And Dingdong Dantes, although a social media star in his own right, trails behind his wife with 2.4 million followers.

The Kapuso couple usually share updates about their daughter Zia on their Instagram accounts, which have made the bubbly three-year-old a social media sensation herself.

However, they draw the line on allowing Zia to have her own social media account.

Marian said, "Well, kami, nag-decide kami ng asawa ko na definitely no, pag laki na lang niya, siya na lang [gumawa]."

The Kapuso Prime-time Queen explained to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press why she does not want Zia to have her own Instagram account yet.

She clarified it was not because of the bashers, "I don’t care about the bashers.

Marian said their fans can get updates about their lives in The Dantes Squad, the YouTube channel they launched in November 2018.

She told the press, "Okay yun kasi parang gusto namin i-share yung mga happy moments namin.

Marian also seemed reluctant to allow fans to have selfies with Zia.

The 34-year-old celebrity mom explained that her daughter's comfort should come first.

"Especially, kapag tinanong mo siya, 'Zia, can we take a picture?' Sabi niya, 'Yes.'

"Papayagan ko siya, pero pag sinabi niya, 'I don’t like.' Sorry, ayaw niya."

Marian was interviewed at the launch of her latest endorsement, Nido 3+, held on Thursday, January 17, at the Rockwell Glasshouse Harlan+Holden in Makati City.
