Bianca Gonzalez has always been an advocate for breastfeeding.
In fact, the 35-year-old celebrity mom breastfed her eldest daughter Lucia until she turned two years old.
Now, she is back to being a working, breastfeeding mom to their newborn daughter Carmen Eliana.
On Saturday, January 26, the Kapamilya host shared her photo with different kinds of bags hanging around her shoulder which usually contain her breastfeeding paraphernalia, including her stored milk after pumping.
She wrote, "When you're a working, breastfeeding mom, carrying lots of bags everywhere and pumping breast milk during meetings is the norm! #mommydiaries"
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last Wednesday, January 30, Bianca reminded moms like her that it is okay to breastfeed your baby or pump their breast milk out even when they are at work.
She said, "I breastfeed and I pump anywhere and everywhere. I pump at meetings, at work.
"Nanonood ako ng basketball dati, nagpa-pump ako in my seat. I mean it’s something that I definitely think we should normalize.
"Now naman mas bearable kasi marami nang mga cover ngayon."
Bianca added that moms should not be shamed or even feel ashamed if they do it outside the comfort of their homes.
"If a mom chooses to pump or breastfeed na walang cover, she should be allowed to do so.
"Kasi it’s the most natural thing in the world. Lahat tayo brineastfeed ng mga nanay natin.
"I guess, dito lang sa Pinas hindi sanay, but really, we can pump and breastfeed anywhere with the type of covers we have now.
"Parang it’s something you should be proud of pa nga, e, na nagagawa mo yun kahit wala ka sa bahay."
