Maggie Wilson is declaring it this early: she will be pregnant with her second child this 2019.
She and her husband Victor Consunji hope to give their six-year-old son, Connor, a sibling toward the latter half of the year.
The host-entrepreneur told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last January 29, "We do have plans on giving him a sibling and hopefully—no, not hopefully—it will happen this year, later on this year."
We caught up with Maggie in a lifestyle event held at her new business venture, Casa Consunji.
KUYA CONNOR
Maggie and Victor asked Connor two years ago if he wanted to have a sibling, and the little boy was not exactly excited with the idea.
The celebrity mom said, "We asked him maybe two years ago, 'Do you want a baby brother or sister?'
"He's like, 'No, only me.'
"But when he started big-boy school and he saw his classmates had siblings, he was like, 'Oh okay, I'm okay with a brother.'"
Then Maggie asked Connor, "'But what if it's a sister?'
"He goes, 'No, I just want a brother.'
"I'm like, 'Well, you're not going to have a choice in the matter if we have a daughter.' So, he's okay with it.
"I think he’s old enough to not feel jealous with having a new baby around. I think 7 years is a good gap."
When she first became a mom, Maggie preferred to have a boy as her firstborn.
She continued, "I really wanted a boy first because I didn't have a Kuya growing up.
"It was just me and my younger sister, and we were a year and a half apart. Oh my god, we fought like cats and dogs every day.
"So, I think the gap will be nice...
"He'll be a nice Kuya."
Connor will be turning seven years old this month.
Maggie could hardly believe that she now has a kid in grade school.
She remarked, "When he enrolled in the first grade already, I was like, 'Oh my god, I have a first grader.'
"Next thing you know, I have a teenager."
