Rochelle Pangilinan is now a certified mommy.
Last night, February 24, at 7:39 p.m., Rochelle gave birth to her first baby—a baby girl—via Cesarean section at The Medical City in Ortigas, Pasig City.
She was with her husband, Arthur Solinap, who informed and gave the basic information about the baby and Rochelle to their talent manager Perry Lansigan, who is also the president of PPL Entertainment, Inc.
The baby weighed seven pounds, and she has the features of both her parents.
At press time, the new dad said they’re still pondering on the baby’s name.
"May list na kami, pero wala pa kaming final name na napili."
A few months ago, at Rochelle’s baby shower, she mentioned that they both have their preferred names for their daughter.
"Ang gusto niya kasi, Shiloh. 'His gift' ang meaning niya sa Bible. Ang gusto ko naman, marami. Elisha. Gusto ko yung Elisha sana, then, gusto ko yung Bliss kasi, perfect joy, supreme joy.
"Ipinagdadasal pa namin kung ano talaga."
Arthur also informed us that Rochelle is doing well.
"Okay naman siya now. Recovering na lang," he said.
