Alice Dixson has been adjusting well to motherhood.
In her first year with Baby Aura, it's clear that mother and daughter both enjoy being under the sun.
Some days they’re swimming in a hotel pool.

Other times, they’re just playing on the beach.

An “island week” is a normal occurrence for the mother-daughter duo.

Aside from love for the beach, the actress has also started inculcating a love for reading.

The 52-year-old star has also brought her daughter to Safari Hotel and Villas in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, where they experienced feeding animals.
just like other moms
Despite her celebrity status, Alice is not spared from having sleepless nights.
The actress recently posted about her eye bags, and wrote in her caption, “Mornings with emote haha or shall I say eyebags from watching the baby pa rin at night. Sabi nga... my nights are longer and days shorter but super worth it naman.”

She has experienced no-yaya days, too.
Her most recent Instagram post was about taking Baby Aura on a 24-hour flight without a nanny.
“To reunite with Papa,” Alice and her “malikot toddler" took “3 flights and 1 boat.”
She admitted it was "not an easy task for a 52yo,” but she managed to get through it.

secrets to breezing through motherhood
Other moms can be inspired by three things that Alice does well.
First, she knows her priorities.
For a busy woman like her, making those pauses are important.
She wrote in an Instagram post, “I have too much going on in my life at this juncture. Some days I get so overwhelmed with my commitments; my business, our new home, moving, the baby, social media, creativity…
"My to do list can be endless and never enough hours in the day really. Yet, what to do?
"Just breathe, prioritize, be happy, be grateful and most of all ‘take one precious day at a time.’”
Second, she knows how to manage stress.
Meditating and having "short breaks to clear my mind and balance" are part of her regular routine.
It also helps to look at stress as something that is within your control.
“Stress is not a consequence of work. Stress is the inability to manage your body, your emotions, your thoughts, your energy.”
Third, she knows how to take care of herself.
Aside from eating in moderation, she follows a fitness regimen—she goes to the gym, swims, and plays tennis.

She also swears by a food supplement containing Sinta or Andrographis paniculata leaves that helps lower her blood sugar, is good for her heart, and relieves symptoms of common colds.
There's also a mangosteen and malunggay variant for her acid reflux. It's a great antioxidant, too.
Alice wrote, “At this age kailangan talaga mag-effort to stay fit and healthy, while being mindful of proper nutrition and maintaining my blood sugar levels…”
So to all the moms in their 40s and 50s who have toddlers, choose to enjoy every minute of motherhood, just like Alice.

Alice's wish of becoming a mom came true in 2021.
She officially introduced Baby A to her fans on April 2, showing a photo of the little one's footprints,
