One of the greatest wishes of celebrity couple Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda has finally come true.
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026—while celebrating their second wedding anniversary—the couple announced on social media that they are expecting their first child.
According to the Instagram Reel shared by Maiqui, their closest friends and family have known about the baby news for some time.
The video opens with heartwarming reactions from celebrity friends to the exciting announcement.
It also captures the intimate moment when Robi and Maiqui confirm the pregnancy through a test.
In the clip, Robi said: “So it’s September 29, 2025. Maiqui is in the bathroom right now with a pregnancy test. Let’s see.”
Moments later, Maiqui emerged holding a test showing two lines, leaving Robi visibly speechless.

Robi and Maiqui began dating in 2018 and got engaged in November 2022 during a trip to Japan.
Their relationship faced a major challenge in 2023 when Maiqui was diagnosed with dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness, inflammation, and skin rashes.
Despite the diagnosis—while preparing for their wedding—Maiqui insisted on pushing through, and the couple tied the knot on January 6, 2024, in a beautiful ceremony in Bulacan.
By late 2024, Maiqui achieved clinical remission after intensive treatment.
