Couple Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz trend this week with photos of their destination prenup shoot in Cappadocia, Turkey.
The photos captured the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Cruz against the vast backdrop of picturesque Cappadocia.
In our phone interview with Dianne on October 23, the bride-to-be gave details of the seven-day shoot, with a small crew doing three to four layouts each day, in the east European country.
She relates, "We did a lot of layouts for the prenup kasi naisip namin na damihan na iyong photos para, siyempre, after wedding, pag may bahay na kami and all, at least magagamit namin iyong photos.
"Very scenic iyong view, very relaxed 'tapos walang tao masyado, so parang masarap mag-shoot talaga."
This layout involved a lot of prayers for good weather,
Diane narrates in the phone interview, "Iyong hot air balloon, iyon isa rin sa pinuntahan namin doon.
Here are the rest of the shoot.
Dianne and Rodjun wanted "one layout to be fun and young" such as these.
The couple also wanted a bit of "tribal feel."
Taking advantage of Cappadocia's rocky terrains, they pushed for this particular layout to be "different and a bit edgy."
NO Make-up artist, No Hairstylist, No problem
Dianne did all of her make-up looks and hairstyles for all the layouts, which had her waking up at dawn every day to prep up.
She tells PEP.ph, "Gumigising ako 4:30 a.m. para mag-ayos doon kasi maaga lagi ikot namin.
"Kasi per day, tatlong layouts, apat na layouts. E, malalayo iyong places na pupuntahan mo.
"Challenge iyon na gigising ako, 'tapos ang lamig-lamig, 'tapos ako pa magma-make-up... As in, walang biro, tint lang. Ever Bilena cheek tint."
The actress continues, "Kasi wala talaga make-up artist. Naste-stress pa ako, wala kaming assistant. Malaking ginhawa na may stylist."
"Pero happy naman ako maganda lumabas yung photos. Pati iyong hair, pero thank you Lord maganda iyong outcome."
Dianne and Rodjun had stylist-designer Jemi Nicdao to help out during and in between layouts.
She also applied all of the make-up tricks she learned from an Ever Bilena make-up workshop.
This destination prenup shoot was done in collaboration with Travel Specialist Ventures.
