Undoubtedly, Maggie Wilson is among the most traveled celebrities.

Just look at her Instagram feed, which is filled with drool-worthy photos from her trips to Mexico, Indonesia, Dubai, The Bahamas, United States, United Kingdom, Morocco, Turkey, and China.

Yup, this year, she has been to nine countries.

Hence, it came as no surprise when she was introduced as the host of Thank God It's The Weekend, which is set to premiere on November 16, at 9:30 p.m. on CNN Philippines.

MAGGIE'S MEMORABLE DESTINATIONS

At the show's press launch held on November 5, at Alegria Bar in Bonifacio Global City, Maggie says, "That’s amazing.

"The whole point of being in social media is to share, di ba? Share all the places that I got to visit and the things that I was able to do.

"Because it’s also to show people that there are places that aren’t so common that you have to check out."

Maggie points out that each person has different travel goals.

"I feel a lot of us travel for shopping. For me, I travel for the experience. And I always like to do things that are different.

"Like for example, the last time I was in the Bahamas, I swam with the sharks."

She is referring to her dive in the famed Danger Cay.

The former beauty queen continues, "When I was in Iceland, we hiked in glaciers, waterfalls. That for me is an experience that I will cherish forever as opposed to shopping."

In April, she posted 10 of her "favourite photos from my travels through the years," and picked the ones showcasing the raw beauty of nature.

Part of her caption read, "I feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to be able to visit and see some of most beautiful places, located in some of the most remote areas on earth. Unspoilt but not untouched. Instead, respected by the people who live there, by the people that call these places home. But shouldn’t every inch of this planet be respected too? I sure believe so."

Members of the press comment that she leads a privileged life.

Maggie is married to real-estate tycoon Victor Consunji Jr. But the 30-year-old British-Filipino celebrity begs to disagree.

"It’s not always all good, it’s just what you portrayed in social media. Of course, there are down [times].

"I’m just the type of person na hindi ko ine-air yung dirty laundry ko."

MAGGIE'S TRADEMARK POSE

Most of her Instagram photos show Maggie wearing a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit while enjoying an island vacation.

Is this okay with her husband?

"Well, I’d like to think naman that I keep him secure. Na I never make him feel insecure or that’s something he should worry about."

Maggie adds, "At saka yung mga sexy pictures ko naman, siya naman ang kumukuha no’n. So kung may problema siya ro’n, sana pagka-shoot, delete na."

Does Victor ask her to limit posting her sexy photos?

"Hindi naman," Maggie says.

"I’m very fortunate with him kasi nga, I guess, he feels secure. He doesn’t need to feel jealous."

MAGGIE'S TRAVEL GOALS

What else would she want to do?

"My gosh! I wanna travel more," she replies.

"The world is so big, there’s so little time. Again, some people, you know, for me, it’s really seeing what’s out there.

"I always feel like we live in a bubble and we only see what’s surrounding us or what to do. But for me, I wanna see what the rest of the world has to offer.

“If I can live a day in a life of a local or of someone from somewhere else in more parts of the world, that, for me is fullfilling, exciting.”

Would she say that she is living her dreams?

"Oh, absolutely!" Maggie answers with a smile.

"I feel very fortunate. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I do. And I always say that if I’ll die tomorrow, I’ll die as a happy woman because a lot of things I got to do, a lot of things I got to see [are things] that most people will never get to do in their lifetime.
