Vanessa was on Pangulasian Island in Bacuit Bay, El Nido, and with her were her equally beautiful sister Stella and Filipina mother Gina Guangco.

"Paradise," Vanessa simply wrote to her 49.1 million followers before adding the hashtag "#philippinesforever."
On Thursday, March 30, 2023, the star of Disney's High School Musical and Netflix's The Princess Switch, both successful franchises, updated her Instagram account with stories about her trip to El Nido, Palawan.
Earlier, Vanessa had her first-ever hiking experience in Palawan.
On March 28, 2023, the former High School Musical star shared a photo of the Palawan sunrise on her Instagram account.
Her caption: "5am hike to the top of the world. #foreverphilippines #palawan [emoji]"
Local celebrities were delighted to know that the Hollywood star was having a good time in their hometown.

The 34-year-old Vanessa, born to a Filipino-American couple in Salinas, California, set foot on Philippine soil for the first time on March 25, 2023.
She is currently in the country to film a travel documentary.
An international singer and actress, Vanessa's film credits include the big action film Polar with Mads Mikkelsen and the critically acclaimed musical Tick, Tick... Boom with Andrew Garfield.
A young Vanessa was once linked to a young Zac Efron, her co-star in the High School Musical series.
