Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati picked Tonga, a tropicalparadise in the South Pacific, as the next destination for their underwater adventure.

Vava'u, the adventure hub of the Kingdom of Tonga, is a must-visit island because of its coral gardens, deserted beaches, and clear lagoons.

On Instagram, Sarah wrote, "Nothing beats experiencing a place for the first time."

Despite having zero sleep and feeling jet lagged the night she and Richard arrived, she had the "heartiest and yummiest food for dinner and great local Tongan beer."

The couple also met some of the locals, like "charity workers, passionate whale/dolphin/bird scientists to free divers and sailors."

For their diving adventure, the two went to Swallows Cave and checked out the inscriptions on the wall dating back to the late 1800s.

They also saw the huge round coral that looks like an underwater elephant.

Next, they went to Kapa Islands, a famous diving site where you can hang out with thousands of small and not so small fishes.

One of Sarah's one-for-the-books experiences was meeting one of the stars of the sea.

"I've had the most exhilarating, unbelievable and craziest day of my entire lifetime after being inches away from the beautiful and majestic humpback whales."

"I've felt so many emotions at the same time. Excitement, nervousness and just being awestruck.

"It felt like a dream swimming and seeing them so close..." the Kapamilya star shared.

Richard shared a tidbit about the mommy humpback whales, which "are in Tonga to give birth and nurture their young in the warm waters of Vavau."
He added, "They eventually migrate to Antarctica to feed and cover over 1000 miles per month. These gentle giants weigh up to 40 tons and average 50 feet long."

The lovebirds also spent a few hours aboard a classic sailboat.

The StarStruck alumna narrated, "Met some good people at the bar and got invited on board a classic 19 meter sailboat made in 1977 from Italy, we cooked lunch on board and went free diving in caves, awesome day."

In a nutshell, Sarah said the adventure "felt like one of those magical movie scenes where you can't pin down reality and fantasy with so much beautiful visual in front of you."

She was in her element.

"I literally danced with a calf and played with him for almost an hour while its mum was resting beneath us. Oh, Vavau. You just keep surprising me."

To date, September 21, the couple's "vacation mode" is still on.
