Alden Richards's idea of unwinding is quite expensive: traveling abroad.

Alden Richards currently has more time on his hands now that his "KalyeSerye" segment with Maine Mendoza on Eat Bulaga! is over.

But the Kapuso network's prized actor misses his crazy schedule.

“When I work, I enjoy. Aside from my free time, I enjoy my work, that’s why I don’t feel stressed or burdened by any hectic demand that there is,” said Alden in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the Cadbury event in UP-Ayala Land TechnoHub, Quezon City, last September 23.

His job gives him a natural high.

“Iba kasi ang fulfillment when you do the things that you like and love and, at the same time, you make people happy.

“Parang it makes you wanna do more on your field, it makes you wanna do more things and make people happier than they are.”

His celebrity status also comes with a lot of perks. He gets paid for his endorsements plus he gets himself involved in socio-civic projects.

The chocolate brand he's endorsing, for example, is raising money so 500 Salamander units, an Amphibious flood faring utility vehicle, can be distributed across Metro Manila.

But showbiz can get stressful, so what's his idea of unwinding?

The Pambansang Bae answered going to spas and traveling outside the country.

When asked about his dream destinations, Alden replied: “I really have plans of seeing the Seven Wonders of the World before I die."

News websites listed down these major tourist attractions as the "New7Wonders of the World."

1. Great Wall of China

2. Petra, Jordan

3. Christ the Redeemer, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

4. Machu Picchu, Peru

5. Chichen Itza, Mexico

6. Colosseum, Rome

7. Taj Majal, India

Alden continued, “So far, checked na si Colosseum sa Rome, so six more to go.”

Alden had the chance to visit the "the largest ampitheatre ever built" when he did his film Imagine You And Me with Maine earlier this year.

Hopefully, he'll be seeing the rest “before or after I retire in show business or while doing.”
