Sharon Cuneta and family to spend New Year in Japan

Sharon Cuneta and her family flew to Japan for a post-Christmas vacation.

Added on the list of stars who are currently enjoying the sights and sounds of Japan are Sharon Cuneta and her family.

On December 27, the Megastar, her husband Kiko Pangilinan, and the kids along with yayas, fly out for an 11-day vacay.

Sharon said the trip was the "first as a whole family in a very long time."

On her Facebook post, she revealed that they will be celebrating the "rest of the Holiday season and New Year celebration" in Tokyo, and will be back "right after my birthday" on January 6.

The family's first stop: Skate in Akasaka Sacas.

Ate Kace, KC Concepcion's nickname, taught her younger sister Frankie how to ice skate.

KC's boyfriend Aly Borromeo joined the trip.

Look: he showcased his skating skills on Instagram.

The gang, which also includes Kiko's Ate Macel Pangilinan Arenas's family, had an ultimate sushi experience at Midori Sushi Akasaka store.

On Instagram, KC wrote, "To brave the long line for this place is real commitment! First main meal in Japan! Let's go."

Yesterday, December 29, Sharon explored the busy shopping stretch of Ginza with her "three girls and my boy."

For KC's part, she posted a back shot of her and Sharon, then wrote, "Mama & Me."

This will be the first time KC will be spending New Year's Eve "away from home."

She clarified though, "But, HOME is truly where the HEART is."

Sharon also posted the same picture but with a different caption.

The celebrity mom joked, "Parang malapad lang po ako dito pero hindi po in person, promise! Kainis! Hahaha!"

Meanwhile, they had a Yakiniku dinner to cap off their second day.

Yakiniku is a Japanese term for "grilled meat" dishes.
