A month after Winwyn Marquez won the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 title in Bolivia, she and her "pangga" Mark Herras have finally found the time for a well-deserved R & R in Camiguin.
On Instagram, the actress mentioned that the trip to the pear-shaped volcanic island was partly "work."
And part of their itinerary was board paddling!
The couple also visited The Guiob Church Ruins in Catarman.
Here's a quick trivia from Winwyn:
"It was built back in the 1800s by the Spaniards, but was destroyed in 1871 because of volcanic eruption.
"...the tough walls of the church was made out of corals, egg whites and lime stones..."
Did you know Camiguin has more volcanoes per square kilometer than any other island on earth?
It also boasts of rain forests and waterfalls.
Winwyn and Mark had a refreshing dip in Tuasan Falls, which is about two kilometers away from the main highway.
Posing with the cascading falls as her backdrop, the Pinay beauty queen looked like a goddess.
Mark wholeheartedly agreed.
His caption for this photo: "You’re my spark in the dark...love you ga!"
