Ian Veneracion is presently in the U.S. with his family.
Whenever he's on a break from his showbiz projects, he resumes his "normal life," which is essentially doing extreme adventures with his kids—Draco, Deirdre, and Duccio.
Late last year, the actor and his "gang" had a bike ride to Dipaculao, Aurora, which is approximately 290 kilometers away from Manila.
On Instagram, he described the experience.
"Awesome views of our beautiful country. Bundok, beach, river, dagat, araw, ulan... all in one day!"
Early today, January 3, they accomplished their first adventure for 2018: Reach the top of the Upper Yosemite Falls in California, U.S.A.
Their hike entailed 12 kilometers of climbing and walking for ten hours, with 2,700 feet of elevation gain.
The website of Yosemite National Park mentioned that the activity is "the mother of all stairmaster workouts."
It also has the panoramic views of Yosemite Valley, Yosemite Falls, and the Half Dome—which is 8,800 feet of towering granite, and is a famous destination for hikers.
Ian gave a quick peek.
After 10 hours, they finally reached the top.
The Kapamilya star exclaimed, "Yeah, baby! The climb to Yosemite Upper Falls was soooo worth it!"
Behind him were his three kids.
