On January 4, the Uytingco family embarked on their first adventure this 2018.
Alwyn, his wife Jennica Garcia, and their daughter Mori took the bus to go to Kalinga.
The former actress' followers got worried because of her delicate pregnancy.
It can be recalled that last December, she was ordered to have a bed rest because of "threatened abortion," defined by HealthLine.com as "vaginal bleeding that occurs in the first 20 weeks of pregnancy."
Jennica then described, "I've been contracting on almost a daily basis... but I couldn't feel it."
Back to their trip, the 28-year-old mom wrote in her Instagram post that they will be on the road for ten hours before reaching Tabuk City, their first stop.
She continued, "Pagdating namin doon, 4-5 hours naman by jeep paakyat sa Buscalan, and lastly 1-2 hours by foot to reach the village."
The daughter of Jean Garcia assured her fans that she got the go-signal of her OB-gynecologist.
She pointed out, "Para sa mga nag-aalala dahil ako ay buntis, maraming salamat po!
"I was able to see my doctor yesterday and was given a go signal that YES I can travel.
"My husband even got me shoes that's meant for hiking para hindi ako madulas."
At 1 a.m., Jennica took this photo during the bus' one and only stopover.
She suddenly felt hungry.
Guess what their food choices were? Hotdog and barbecue.
The former actress related, "Sayang at walang kanin na pwedeng take out.
She went on acknowledging some of her followers' comments.
Salamat po!" she wrote.
One of her followers asked if some passengers approached the family for picture-taking.
Meanwhile, their little princess was "tulog na tulog at nakanganga pa."
Jennica joked, "Parang nalasing sa breastmilk ko."
One of her followers asked: Can a mom still breastfeed even if she is pregnant? The answer is yes.
Enjoy the trip!
