GarinFarm Pilgrimage Resort's "Stairway To Heaven" can be found in San Joaquin, Iloilo.

Ever wonder what heaven would look like?

This "Stairway To Heaven" at GarinFarm Pilgrimage Resort gives us a glimpse of what heaven possibly looks like.

GarinFarm Pilgrimage Resort is a 14-hectare inland resort found in San Joaquin, Iloilo.

Former First District of Iloilo representative and current mayor of Guimbal town, Oscar Garin Sr., owns the property.

In an interview with Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho in 2016, he said the construction of this tourist attraction in their province started in 2014.

He said, "Two years ago [2014], I started thinking of something more. Yung hindi naisip ng iba, mapag-isipan ko.

"That's why this heavenly scenario is made possible."

To reach the "heaven," visitors will have to climb up a total of 480 steps.

Statues depicting some of the most important events in the Bible—from the story of creation, Noah's Arc, and Christ's ascension to heaven, among many others—were set up along the way.

The bottom of the Divine Mercy Cross will greet you once you reach the top of the stairs.

This will lead you to the Dark Medidation Tunnel which Garin said depicts "dark, troubled, Earthly lives."

Once your reach the end of the tunnel, you'll witness the "heavenly scenario" complete with angels and St. Peter greeting you by the gates of heaven.

Statues of the Holy Trinity—the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit—is also found on top of the "Stairway to Heaven."

Tourists can gain access to this attraction with a PHP150 entrance fee.

Aside from the pilmgrimage area, the resort also offers recreational activities such as horse-back riding, zip line, and hilltop boating, among many others.
